Who is Brooke?

Welcome all!

“Passion,” is the short answer. But let us give you the professional rundown.

Brooke is the founder and chief operator of Brooke In The Air Travel LLC, a company she formed shortly after graduate school in 2022.

She holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in history and sociology, plus a Master’s degree in history, and has since dedicated her life to travel and unraveling the complex mysteries of flights, connections, hotel bookings, etiquette, and in general “how to travel” with the least hassle encountered.

More importantly, she illustrates how travelers can travel and stay in luxury without breaking the bank, in other words, the art of value travel. She currently resides in the Bay Area after a post-grad school move from Cleveland, OH to Richmond, VA back to Cleveland, OH to Oakland, CA close to wear she was born.

Brooke has discovered that only 61% of Americans have passports and of this percentage, only about 38% use them as they were intended i.e. for international travel. She hopes to change mentality bit by bit by illustrating the joys of experiencing other cultures, foods, customs, and how they’re affordable even on a budget.

For example, Brooke is going on a PQP Run this weekend (the 21st through the 24th of December, now in the past).

This cross-country trip accomplishes (accomplished) three things: Achieves sufficient PQP or Premier Qualifying Points, for United Airlines’ Premier 1K elite status, the highest member-status available, which entitles you to many perks.

Further, this particular trip enabled Brooke to review the new 787-9 Dreamliner in the new Polaris Suite class, which is a bold new layout from United Airlines featuring enclosed Polaris suites.

This is a transcontinental “shake down” cruise before it is deployed on international routes, notably San Francisco (SFO) to London-Heathrow (LHR) and San Francisco to Singapore-Changi International Airport.

And thirdly, Brooke will be able to demonstrate the cost of this flight and how luxury is affordable via the proper parameters, as well as the hotel cost.
